Happy Twenty-Sixteen!

Wishing you all a happy, healthy and prosperous NEW YEAR! Happy 2016!

These colors were a dream! I plan on coming back to this color palette and working with them again!  I choose to limit the palette to mostly the greens and browns.  I added just a few touches of the peachy-pink colors for accents.  I also added a bit of Kraft paper.  I didn't go with a "crafty" theme (other than the Kraft paper!) but kept it generic.  I love all things crafty, but for some reason, I just wanted to make something pretty without worrying about the theme for this one.  I did create a tag with the text, "Create" and some of my journal cards have a crafty feel, too.  

I love succulents and I remembered that someone had requested a blog train theme of succulents...plus, someone (probably the same person) requested succulent items in the Patron Requests forum.  So, I decided to throw a couple of succulents in there!  I really love the look of this kit.   It's probably my favorite one yet.  I hope you enjoy it, too!

Planning for a Happy New Year {plus a freebie!}

I hope the holiday season has filled you with cheer! It's been a great Christmas for my family.  My 3 year old has been overwhelmed with all the excitement and, of course, I've loved every minute of watching him have fun!
