We've already put up the Christmas tree at my house. We've hung the stockings (even though I'm already SICK of saying "Don't touch the stockings!" to my 2 and 4 year olds!). We haven't put out any outside decorations yet....because our old ones were pretty sad and we just need an update. It hasn't happened yet. I have a wreath that I'm going to make for the door, but other than that, I'm guessing that we'll be shopping the after-Christmas clearance for some new outdoor decorations that probably won't make it up until Christmas 2017.
I made an advent calendar for my boys and I've come up with a few fun activities for them to do. We've also introduced our new "Shepherd on the Search" to them, too. It's a little Shepherd who is on the search for Baby Jesus after he hears the angels declare that the Messiah was born in Bethlehem. The adult shepherds won't let him go, so he goes alone to find the Baby Jesus. It's a cute little story with a cute plush shepherd doll. (Similar to the popular Elf on the Shelf) The shepherd gets to visit us and search the house for Jesus. Then on Christmas morning, he finds Him in a little manger scene that is on the inside of the box he comes in! I'm going to set it all up under the Christmas tree with the gifts. Here are some photos of our Shepherd's ADVENTures, so far.
Without further delay, here is this month's HUGE amount of scrapbooking goodies! I hope you enjoy and have a very blessed Christmas season.
