The Teenaged PixelScrapper Express Has Arrived!

Here we are again!!  Another 1st of the Month and another great PixelScrapper blog train has arrived!

I'm excited to offer a kit that, I hope, will be very useful for mothers of teens and young boys.  I am a high school art teacher, so I do work with teens every single day.  When people see my sweet face, that I'm only 5'2" and I teach high school, they are usually amazed that I can control them!  I teach in a GREAT school district that really values education, so I have it pretty easy.  I love teenagers.  I know they scare some people, but I've found that they are mostly just kids at heart.  They make me laugh every day.

I have 2 baby boys so I'm not a parent of a teenager yet, but I can tell you that I'm both excited and terrified that I will be there one day!

New Scrapbook Kit: Rusted Construction

A builder is building a new house in the lot next door to my home.  So, there are huge bulldozers, excavators, tools and piles and piles of rocks, sand, and dirt.   I have a TON of photos of my two little guys playing over there, so I needed a good kit to use!  I wanted to go with a vintage, rusted, and distressed look.  I think I've achieved it.

So far, the kit has 12 patterned papers, 6 solids, 3 frames, 16 elements, 6 3"x4" Journal Cards, 2 4"x4" Journal Cards, 4 small labels, and an alpha set (all caps with some punctuation and some special symbols)

Vintage Butterfly Invitation - Perfect for a Bridal Brunch!

I love the look of vintage insect collections.  I love those vintage scientific illustrations of insects and, of course, butterflies are the most beautiful of them all.   Here is my newest invitation added to the Etsy shop that pays a tribute to my love for all things buggy and vintage.   I think it would make a beautiful a creative theme for a bridal brunch or a garden tea party!
