SNEAK PEAK: August's Blog Train

White you're here for July's train, sneak a peak at what I have started for you for August!

I haven't got it all done...but I did make the papers.  So, I wanted to show them off.  I'm pretty sure that I'm going to focus on journal cards and word art with this kit.  It might have some elements, too.  But I'm going to make some funny quotes for those of us (like me!) who aren't really "happy campers."  My idea of camping is sleeping with the window open.  I never quite understood the mystique and wonder surrounding sleeping outside.  My goal in life has pretty much been to make sure I never have to sleep outside.  I intend for this kit to be useful for the camper and for those moments while camping or spending time outdoors that make us wonder "WHY DID I SIGN UP FOR THIS?"

  1. I'm with you about the whole camping idea. I did it once when my kids were small (my hubby's idea); sleeping in a tent! I loved the campground; the beautiful forest ... but not the tent. Give me a hotel/motel room with a bed! Looking forward to seeing the word art/jcs! :)

  2. I agree with you!!! My idea of camping is staying at a Motel 8 instead of a Marriott!!! But I am loving the colors for August!! Looking forward to your contribution!!!

  3. Can't wait! I am always in need of camping themed papers since we do a lot of the outdoorsy stuff. I really like your sneak peak since my style is to emphasize the camping photos and not make them cute-sy. So thank you for working on this for us!

  4. We returned from a camping trip to Lake Wenatchee State Park in Washington two days ago. We sang campfire songs, roasted S'mores and gazed in wonder at the plethora of stars. We admired unique flora flourishing under the cool forest canopy, then swam in the lake. "Roughing it" helps one to feel a part of it all. Thanks for your delightful kit - I'll enjoy using it to document our experiences.

    1. Thanks, Cesc Worthy. I prefer to feel part of a 4 star hotel. I love the outdoors, I just don't know why anyone wants to sleep out there.
